About Melvin

Born and raised in North Carolina, Melvin is a singer, actor, dancer, and writer. He wasn’t always a performer though. In school, Melvin dreamed of becoming a pediatrician due to his love for children and science.

However, things changed when he headed to college. There, he found his love for the arts as well as his voice. From there, Melvin switched his major from Biology to Theatre, while also minoring in Psychology.

Since graduating in 2016 from a small college in Raleigh NC, Melvin has appeared in numerous professional productions both onstage and in front of the camera.

While Melvin isn’t performing he is hard at work at developing his own brand. During the pandemic of 2020, Melvin shifted his focus to writing and creating short films. In that time he wrote 2-3 different screenplays.

In the months to come, he hopes to get these films up on their feet and put out into the world to showcase a different side of his skillsets.
